A New Day

She feels different nowadays,

She feels like a new person,

Seeing the sun now, she realizes,

How much love means, how she feels for him,

Like a baby bird she learns how to fly,

Fell many times,his hands as comfort each time,

Her heart overflows with love,

HIs face is all that engulfs her mind,

With each step she takes, she smiles,

Knowing his footsteps synchronize with hers,

She feels like a little child in his arms,

Yet a woman when she soothes his woes,

The world shines a different outlook,

With his presence anything seems possible,

She wants so much at times,

To say so much to him,

No words can describe, she realized,

The immense feeling for him,

Her friend, lover, guardian…everything
