Her Journal

30 August 2005

The start of the day was wonderful
Was in his arms from morn till night
Then the time came for us to part
The saddest time of the day
As the journey to the airport was devastating
Friends made jokes, smiles were there
However her stomach could not stop churning
For she knew the time had come
For her beloved to be thrown in a place faraway

With all the strength she had, she tried not to tear
The last hug and kiss gave her away
For she could not let go of her man
Her journey home was solemn and painful
She could not stop balling in the car
She knew this was only the beginning of both thier turmoils
And she was right…

31 September 2005

It was a Wednesday and she went to school with a heavy heart
Her eyes all puffed up from the night before
She did not have a good night
All she could think of was him
She kept smelling his shirt as if it could help
The rest of the day, she tried to carry on as usual
Smiling when she could, concentrated in a work
Nights were torturous..she knew the worst was yet to come…

1 September 2005

It was a Thursday, she had a full day at school
Had to go to the work after school
With all the strength she mustered
To get through the day, depressed but alive…
